What ServBook Is

ServBook is a booking management platform for service businesses — barbershops, salons, tattoo studios, and other appointment-based shops. ServBook allows business owners to create a public profile, list services and staff, and accept bookings from clients. Clients can discover businesses, book appointments, and receive automated reminders.

By accessing or using ServBook — as a business owner or as a client — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Use of the Service

You may use ServBook only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent booking information.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform, its servers, or its databases.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to interact with the service without our written permission.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service or its infrastructure.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion, without prior notice.

Business Accounts

Business owners who create a ServBook account are responsible for the accuracy of their profile information, including listed services, pricing, and hours. You are responsible for managing your bookings, fulfilling appointments, and communicating with your clients. ServBook is a tool to facilitate bookings — we are not a party to the service agreement between a business and its clients.

SMS Communications

By providing your phone number when booking an appointment through a ServBook-powered booking page, you consent to receive SMS appointment reminders sent by ServBook on behalf of the business you are booking with. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe from SMS messages at any time. Reply HELP for assistance.

Opting out of SMS reminders does not cancel your appointment. It is your responsibility to track your scheduled appointments through other means after opting out.

Intellectual Property

The ServBook name, logo, and all related software and content are the property of ServBook and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the service without our express written permission.

Content you upload to ServBook — such as business photos or service descriptions — remains yours. By uploading it, you grant ServBook a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content as part of your public profile and within the platform.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ServBook and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months prior to the claim, or (b) $100 USD.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so the above limitations may not apply to you in full.

Disclaimer of Warranties

ServBook is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We may also notify registered business accounts by email for material changes. Your continued use of ServBook after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in the courts located in New York County, New York.
